Sexual assault on woman: One in custody three more sought

Sanook reported that one young man was now in custody after a family reported the sexual assault of a woman in Din Daeng, Bangkok. 

 

A picture posted on Facebook showed four men going into a room with the victim apparently unconscious on Tuesday.

 

On Wednesday the family filed a complaint with the Din Daeng police. Warrants for sexual assault and theft for four men followed. 

 

One man is now helping the police with their inquiries as the investigation continues.

Those guys probably do, I do not .

Although you seem to think that rape is acceptable as a punishment .

Wait a minute, the parents have made the charge not the woman concerned, perhaps there was no assault, perhaps the parents over reacted, perhaps the father thought the young men acted in a way he might have in the same situation and perhaps they didn't?

Most young Thai men don't have to rape or sexually assault women as in this society there are many many avenues for sexual relief, as many TV patrons will attest! Just saying.

I understood what you wrote the first time , that rapists should get raped and that hoped that there would be rapists in the jail to rape the perpertrators

How about if it turns out that they are not guilty? Will it have been ok to show their faces then? Not exactly something that you can undo if it turns out that they are not guilty.

apparently there was intercourse, otherwise the Police would not entertain the complaint, and moreover I wonder if it is easy or difficult to lodge a complaint, and whether there are trained and experienced officers available that know how to put the victim at easy and get information.
from what we can see from pictures and the article, it seems the girl was not able to walk.
It looks she was taken into an apartment block , not to a hospital.
and if one or more guys took advantage of the girl, that is called rape, or molestation as the case may be.

logically speaking, one would take someone in that state to their home.

Don't blame the victim !

I think the family came forward assisting the young women in reporting the case.... you may be reading too much into the post.

This was the following day after she had recovered from being unconscious and realised what had happened. Maybe she was too weak or traumatised to go herself so the parents went so as not to waste time in finding those responsible.
