Charlie's Angels reboot sees the leading ladies ditch swimwear and replace stilettos with trainers

Things change: The new Charlie's Angels remake, which stars Kristen Stewart, 29, Ella Ballinska, 23,and Naomi Scott (right), 26, has been dragged into the #Metoo era

 

It first hit TV screens in the 1970s with three bikini-clad stars who became international pin-ups.

 

The original Charlie's Angels series starred Farrah Fawcett as crime fighter Jill Munroe alongside Kate Jackson and Jaclyn Smith and their racy outfits and male boss Charlie were wildly popular. 

 

But the latest big-screen remake, which stars Kristen Stewart, 29, Naomi Scott, 26, and Ella Ballinska, 23, has dragged the show into the post #MeToo era.

 

Twilight star Kristen told The Sun: 'It's just a really nice time to tell a story that feels feminine and silly, but also really grounded in a way that feels united.

and we have nothing else to talk about... who cares if stilettos or trainers, we want to see some skin

the one in the middle is hot BUT I suspect her "assets" are not natural.... too bad.

That is misleading, I doubt they have a scene like that in there.

The only sexy one in the bunch is the black girl in the middle, kristen Stewart is the less sexy woman on the planet

I saw the previews , which was plenty. Takes a lot of imagination to see these clueless twits in any movie role other than Dumb and Dumber.  

In the next version they will wear studded leather and use shotguns to kill white middle aged meat eating men. That's the way these remakes are going.

 

Time to start looking for other sources of entertainment.

Yeah. That empty headed, ready to flip stare. There's a whole generation of lost ones. Luckily the generation after them seems to be able to develop brains.

Well, judging by many other photos of her I have seen, that is about 75% foam. As in a "Thai style miracle bra".

 

It is a wonder how much difference one of those wonder bras can make! She is quite pretty though. And 5'10" tall. 

 

I would see that movie. For $10,000. No less. A "me too" style reboot sounds nasty. Feminine? Not.

I agree. I was a boy at that time and I read in the TV magazine that it's all about sex. I watch every episode I could but the sex just never happend, not even close.

Well, I saved a few bucks by not being irritated for a couple of hours.

 

I have seen some decent movies recently though, Last Christmas, The Good Liar, Fisherman's Friend, JoJo Rabbit, even Maleficent mistress of evil was worth the time.
