Anyone else using it as I.E 11 is no longer up-dated-able.

Your main concern should be that Windows 7 (your headline) will be out of warranty in January 2020... no more security patches, just rien, bill, nada...

Upgrade to Windows 10 and IE is available for free as app from the store. I use it for the immigration 90d report and it works

Thank you Swiss1960 for your reply.

To all, why has Microsoft sent me the Version 79.0.309.30 (Official build) beta (32-bit) Edge for Windows 7 since it will no longer support Window 7 from Jan 2020?

Very strange indeed.

Why not - basically IE11 has been replaced with Edge - they want you to move from Win 7 to Win 10 and they hope that will help push you that way. If ts "beta" that suggests it is still developing.......

I am staying with Win 7 as long as my machines keep functioning but moved to Brave (and before that Firefox) browser a while ago. I keep IE11 as a back up where the above browsers may not be compatible with the odd site.

Hi Folks,

Been on this for over a month now and it is truly a great improvement from I.E.11 and did not like Google Chrome at all, but had to use it.

Looks like they will be publishing the final version on 15th Jan 2020.
