December 3, 20196 yr Hyundai is about to start production on their Pick Up truck in the US https://www.thedrive.com/news/31278/hyundai-santa-cruz-prototype-offers-up-close-look-at-upcoming-pickup-truck?fbclid=IwAR1zQ0ZmQnT95MGtQDIHLDqEIhY_87FHk-onOw4jNMlG4WnNmeIhQyjQ5qE Could not find any info concerning Thailand, it sure is a good looking rig, but could use four doors IMO Anyone has any info?
December 3, 20196 yr A pick-up truck? You're kidding me. I suppose you could pick up chicks in it if you were so inclined. But as a pickup truck that functions, maybe not. Enough room in the rear box for a couple cases of beer and 2 bags of groceries. It can't make up its mind if it's a truck, an SUV or a car. A lot better looking than Musk's Tesla pickup. IMHO of course.

December 3, 20196 yr Looks awesome, shame if it ever sells here will cost on par with BMW most likely
December 3, 20196 yr Author Not many specifications are available yet but it looks to me to be based on the Santa Fe SUV platform. But I could be totally wrong. Certainly not a vehicle for commercial applications, but for those of as who would like an SUV but also would like a bed for tall , dirty items , it might be an option. I read that it would have a bed extender (whatever that means) giving the bed roughly the size of a midsize truck bed when needed. " 4. The Santa Cruz Concept has a bed extender that allows the entire bed to be stretched out, giving the truck roughly the same size bed as a midsize pickup when pulled out." https://www.autoguide.com/new-cars/2019/hyundai/santa-cruz/ IMO it would be nice to see it in Thailand and would fill a niche market between an SUV and a Pick Up truck. this is another angle, Whatever your opinion, it is certainly a good looking vehicle. Not sure about back seat space. which might be a dealbreaker for me.
December 3, 20196 yr That looks great and I'd defo be keen to buy... I Wish Hyundai sold more of its range here.
