   In any case, in my country she would be an adult, with driver’s license, old enough to join the military, and get a firearms permit. Not a child.

China and India have fully signed on to the climate change accord and are making efforts to reduce their emmissions. The US however has pulled out of the climate change accord and Trump has made it his ambition to make the US "The biggest, best, most wonderful polluter in the World, MAGA". You're talking about natural economic forces while coal is being subsidised and stimulated, while oil companies control the market.

 

And while these products are polluting and heating at an incredible rate.

 

USA is being left further and further behind for the expanding market of renewable energy by Europe and China. Short term vision is killing the long term prospects.
