This may not be the most efficient method of producing energy, but the value of the energy produced at least offsets the cost of managing waste disposal in an environmentally safe manner. Such 'waste-to-energy power plants' should be used world-wide. It's far more sensible to spend money on such projects instead of spending the money trying to reduce CO2 emissions, which are not a pollutant and which benefit the environment by increasing plant growth. -
