shadowofacloud Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 Hi All, I need to buy a tank bag for a CRF250. Due to seat configuration the ones with magnets won't fit, so it needs to be the one with straps. I've asked in a few shops in the neighborhood (Sukh 71), but none have it. One of the owners suggested I go to the Pratunam market. Is this market any good for bike accessories? Any other suggestions? Lazada is not an option this time, as I would like to buy it tomorrow. thanks.
properperson Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 Personally i'd buy a rear carrier, which will enable you to strap a bag onto it - it's not in the way then ....
shadowofacloud Posted December 11, 2019 Author Posted December 11, 2019 Already got a rear carrier. I need something small and easily accessible to keep my wallet, phone, camera, water etc. in. I guess I will go for a hip bag for now, as these can be bought everywhere. 1
CharlieH Posted December 11, 2019 Posted December 11, 2019 Always felt the crossbody type was easier and better than the hip bag. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/niceeshop-men-messenger-bags-stylish-cross-body-bag-high-quality-travel-bags-i268433167-s420239179.html?spm=a2o4m.searchlist.list.19.c2636b3c9CjUoq&search=1 1
shadowofacloud Posted December 11, 2019 Author Posted December 11, 2019 Saw them in a shop yesterday and wasn't sure... I guess I'll try both designs and see what works best. 1

Contrary to my earlier doubts, the crossbody bag is really great - thanks for the advice. Got it by accident, really. Went to some kind of a military uniform shop in Nan looking for a hip bag and one of the shoulder bags caught my eye. Tried it on and it stayed on ????. Tested in battle for the last 10 days or so - works great, big enough to fit my bulky dslr and related paraphernalia. 1

I am currently sold on the crossbody bag, but may give it a try at some point.
