Thai - Cambodia Conflict Courier Braves Bombardment to Deliver Parcels in Surin
Picture courtesy of Amarin. In a story that could have been pulled from a war film, a delivery rider has gone viral on social media after CCTV footage showed him fearlessly navigating through a bombardment zone to deliver a parcel to a customer’s doorstep. The incident occurred at approximately 10:10 on 24 July in the Thai Samboon village area of Moo 2, Ban Chob Subdistrict, Sangkha District, Surin Province. This region has recently been rattled by cross-border artillery fire amid rising tensions along the Thai-Cambodian border. According to the social media post that accompanied the clip, a total of 17 BM-21 Grad rockets struck areas around a local factory on that day. Explosions can be heard echoing in the background of the CCTV footage, while plumes of smoke billow into the sky. Yet, amid the chaos, the camera captures an astonishing sight, a delivery rider, undeterred by the danger, calmly riding his motorcycle to complete his delivery. “Now this is what I call express delivery,” read one of the top comments, echoing the sentiments of thousands of netizens praising the rider’s bravery and dedication. The post quickly gained traction online, with many Thai users referring to the rider as a real-life hero. Some even dubbed him the “warzone postman,” likening his service to that of military couriers during wartime. No injuries were reported from the strikes in this particular area, though tensions in the region remain high following repeated military exchanges between Thai and Cambodian forces. This extraordinary act of courage highlights the everyday risks faced by civilian workers in conflict zones. Adapted by Asean Now from Amarin 2025-07-26 -

Thai - Cambodia Conflict Thai - Cambodia clash escalates dramatically, atleast 12 dead.
Very true. There are multiple layers of hinduism and buddhism (in various strands) making up what one could call "Thai buddhism". Not to mention the older layers of animism and ancestor worship. That being said, I find that what is practised in Thailand is rather a bastardised form of buddhism. Such obsession with "tambun", such obsession with money (a bit reminiscent of some forms of catholicism whereby one can buy merit or credit). And so much superstition! -

Thai - Cambodia Conflict Cyber Police Urge Thais to Stop Spreading Fake News and Inciting Violence
That are just the sources that are not reliable....Thailand has a strong censure in everything that is broadcasted, so if you want to know reality foreign media are more reliable. And critical thinking is not done..It will be discouraged at schools and if you do you can end in jail.. as we have seen already with students in protests, when they did some critical thinking -
