Clarence White, bluegrass guitarist extraordinaire, along with & Tony Rice on I Am A Pilgrim recorded in '73, the same year the Byrd's dissolved for good.

Rated No. 1 by Gibson in their top 50 acoustic guitarists of all time is Belgian Django Reinhardt.  St. Louis Blues recorded on September 30, '35.

No computer for a month, there's a fair bit of catching up to do. No problem as I've been quarantined for 2 weeks due to a quick but necessary trip out of province to Bangkok and back.

However, back in a better time.. 1969.

Just found out that Bill Withers passed on this past Monday.  The world lost another great artist.

 

One of my favourite numbers, I Can't Write Left Handed, recorded on October 6, '72, at Carnegie Hall in New York City and released on his '73 Live At Carnegie Hall LP.
