Tap water tariffs up in 2020

Featured Replies

I just got message from the landlord about water cost increase in 2020. Anyone else who know about a general price increase for tap water in 2020?

Thanks

Felt.

They will all go up, distinct lack of the wet stuff last/this year.

Supply vs demand

Exactly. Price depends whether well, mains, or tanker.

The OP's landlord likely expects to have to buy water by truck which is about 5 times price of mains water.

I expect it will be a real struggle to keep my tenants supplied with water over the next half year. The trucks will be hard to get.

We have Government water + a spare tank and never had any big issues in previous dry seasons so I guessed it was a increase from the Government but will ask again when landlord come by.
