Dentist in Mahasarakham or Khon Kaen.

I'm looking for a dentist as I've got a crack in a molar. I had the same on the other side and it needed root canal treatment. As often happens I started having problems just before I leave the UK to come to Thailand. My dentist did his best with a temporary filling but it hasn't held up and I'm starting to get quite a bit of discomfort.

I don't think I can wait until I go back in March and going back early is not something I think is practical so I think I may have to get done here. I live in Mahasarakham but I suspect Khon Kaen might be have more options. As my wife is a government worker I can probably get it done that way but they might try to just pull it out which I don't want. Obviously one who speaks English would be better.

Does anyone have experience of dentist in these areas?

I always use Ganokporn Sriwilailuk 043 236055 or 083 4561914.

In Khon Kaen. She speaks good English and is good at her job in my view.

She worked in UK.

I had root canal treatment on Tuesday.

On the road opposite Bangkok Hospital and leading to Ram Hospital.

Easy to park outside.

I hope you get on OK.

I think she is good.

Root canal was 1,500 Baht.

Got to return next week probably another 1,500.

Then return in two months to finish.

I went there the following day. The x-rays were abit old fashioned but she seemed ok. Unfortunately despite agreeing that my first molar was cracked she thought my unerupted wisdom tooth needed to come out. This contradicts what my dentist in the UK said and didn't seem to make sense. I'm aretired dental technician so although I'm more knowledgeable about false teeth I know my dentist is ok.  Ithen went to a surgery in Mahasarakham which worried me at first as it's Hello Kitty themed however the x-ray equipment was much better. They also thought that I needed root canal treatment on my molar.  Unfortunately they can't do that. I Don't know why as idon't know how dentistry works here. They suggested I go to the hospital which I did and they also advised RCT but can't do it until March when I'll be going back to the UK anyway. As it happens the pain has virtually gone unless I eat or drink something very cold or hot. This may be due to the fact that in Khon Kaen she ground the occlusal surface of my molar so taking the pressure off. Anyway I think I'll be able to wait until I go back to the UK.

Thanks for the help anyway.

I am going from memory on this, as it has been about 5 yrs., and I am not in Sarakham now. Stand in front of the Krungthai Bank downtown. Cross the street. There is a dentist's office in front of you. That is not the one you want. Turn left, and walk about 4 doors. That is the guy you want. Another dentist in Sarakham recommended him to me as a root canal specialist.

That's my bank so it shouldn't be difficult to follow your directions.

At the moment my plan is to wait until I get back to the UK in mid March as the pain seems to have dropped. I don't know why this is but it could be due to the dentist in Khon Kaen taking a little off the occlusal surface of the tooth which relieved the pressure.

In any event I may still need a dentist whilst here some day so I'll check out your directions.

Try Smile Dentist in Roi ET. Excellent Dentist in that office. Very modern.

Thanks. I should be able to wait until I get back to the UK now the pain has eased off. I will probably need a dentist here at some time and Roi Et isn't far away for me so that would be an option for me.
