January 21, 20206 yr Hello I'm looking for a electronics repair shop for my stereo receiver. I already checked with the store I bought it from. I also checked with the electronic shops in the basement of the Big-C near Central Festival. I thought they could figure this problem out, but they gave up. I'm thinking there could be a couple of shops in Phuket Town, but not getting any help. Anyone know of such a place? Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you in advance Geno
January 21, 20206 yr Try H3-Digital in Thalang, don't know if they repair. but they sell. 51/6 Moo8, T.Srisoontorn
January 22, 20206 yr Author Thank you chercheur888 I will look into that and see if they can do such work. I’ll update this forum when I get an answer.
January 22, 20206 yr Search for Advice Thailand. They do repairs for electronic items. Maybe they can do or guide you as to whom.
January 22, 20206 yr OP, have you been to the manufacturers website They may have a list of local authorised repairers or a Thai office that you can ship the unit to for repair.
January 22, 20206 yr Author Thank you Peter I did go back to the seller, and he didn’t help me to repair it other than telling me I have to send it to Bangkok for repair. Im sure the cost will be high to go that direction. That’s why I want to say local. I will look up Onkyo for availability and some options
January 22, 20206 yr Southern Dynatech in Phuket Town, one of nicest business owners around. Also repair shop opposite TOT on Chao Fa West. Can't miss it as they usually have a bunch of old washing machines out front but they do all sorts of electronic work as well
January 23, 20206 yr Author Thanks Mitch, but that’s where I started. I took it there and they kept it for a month, and found out they can’t. Their answer is always, “send it to BKK.” That will be to expensive to do at this point. Thank you for your help
