Who stole the mountains of Laos

Woke up this morning after a heavy night and noticed the mountains across the Mekong had disappeared.

I so enjoyed that view in the morning, I do hope they come back.

My wife said it was the smoke, I said “no Ganga last night”.

They used them to make all the hydroelectric dams.

The haze that obscures your mountain view is pretty pervasive across the northern tropics at this time of year. It's a natural phenomenon that is exacerbated by the regional agricultural-related burning over your way and heavy Saharan desert dust and smoke from the cooking fires of the indigenous folks where I am presently. Don't worry, your mountains will 'grow' back eventually.

Guys. I think you’re forgetting all the religious ceremonies at the moment and the heavy use of incense sticks causing the smoke (or so a leading government figure stated a few months ago!!!!)

I had the same problem with the sun last night , but a good night sleep solved that problem, I hope it dont happen again.

I’ll ask the Thai health minister.

”Farangs”

No he didn’t say that.

I don't know.  Maybe it's the ghost of Lao Tse Tung.  The Chinese snagged Tibet but it might have been a little cold and hilly to suit them.
