My fiance doesn't want to immigrate to the US. How difficult is it to get her a return visa for visiting?

My fiance doesnt wish to immigrate to the US after our marriage. She has family back home that she needs to help take care of.

If we marry and she returns home before her fiance visa expires, how difficult is it to bring her back to visit on a b2 visa? We tried to bring her here on a tourist visa (before proposing) previously but she was denied because her ties to home weren't considered strong enough in the eyes of the US embassy.

Also how hard would it be for her to immigrate later (year(s)) if she changes her mind?

Too many imponderables to say ...

You don't mention whether she actually has a fiance visa, and whether she's already in the USA.  You also don't mention whether she has a job, real estate, a bank account or other assets in Thailand that will play a part in whether she will be granted a tourist visa in the future.

Best bet is to consult an immigration attorney, and stay far away from TVF, where one guy will say black and the next guy will say white, with neither one ever having set foot in the USA.

The US embassy in Bangkok looks at all visa applications as "immigrant" visas. The word "tourist" does not enter into the discussion. They simply think that every woman wants to live in the US. I think they have a quota of tourist visas that once met, they simply deny every subsequent application. And they do not give a reason for denial, simply a paper that states "you do not qualify for a visa" according to some numbered statute or regulation. I know from experience. Good luck.

I have helped 4  ladies get USA Visa

Just do the application online and follow instructions.

It all comes down to who interviews her if she gets approved or not

My wife = 10 yr Visa gets stamped in 6 months at a time

A married Thai lady = got 10 yrs

Thai single friend = only got 12 weeks

Chinese single friend = 1 yr visa

its all about the interview, the girl only got 12 weeks had total B,

My wife had all documents, interviewer never asked to see even 1, was very pleasant friendly, told my wife all about Boston and how much she was going to love it.......gave us 10 yrs.

The other married Thai lady also had pleasant friendly interviewer.

Dont believe anyone that says they issue Visas by quota, absolute hogwash.

The op wants visa information not relationship advice.

Thai woman applying for a visitor visa to the US has to qualify on her merits alone.

and having a marriage to a US person who is not living in Thailand at least semi permanently can only make it more questionable. They don't want her to change status in the US. I have been told by someone on the inside they are looking for the Thai or her parents if she is single living at home to have around $75,000 in assets or a very solid job and educational background. How many Americans are even worth $75,000? Think about that next time you see Thais outraged that westerners come to Thailand  visa exempt then work illegally or beg in the streets for travel funds like Hobos.
