Why worry about 1m years though?

Most on here will be dead in 10 to 50 years.

The last 15 years has seen

1 greater lifeapans

2 more crops

3 Slight change in temps

The earth was supposed to be ruined by 2020 according to the loons.

Agree with most of your posts so far, and I also am inclined to pay more attention to real science than those with whole other agenda.

Don't want to waylay the thread but disagree on '2 more crops' as I believe the onset of the agricultural revolution was the undisputed start of, to generalize, unhealthy diets in the modern world. I am thinking mainly of the diabetes and obesity epidemic which I believe to be a direct result of 'more crops' (grains, now palm oil etc).

And you're correct I don't care what happens in a million years.

Would point out lifespans have been the same since the start of recorded history.

Although the bible seems to think they have been greatly reduced (Adam was 930 when he died).

Potential lifespans have remained at less than a 120 years, but life expectancy has changed over time.

Here is Canada since the 50's

Yes many crops are bad for health. My point is climate has improved growth levels. You get more land that can be farmed to feed people with warmer temps. That includes more land for grazing animals.

No buddy. I deal in facts. You deal in scare campaigns.

Spent over 15 years reading climate science. You haven't. You read The Guardian and watch CNN.

Educate yourself. Read the science.

You seem to think you know a lot about me, BUT you don't,

I don't read the Guardian or watch CNN,and I don't deal in

anything,so you are wrong about me, could you be wrong

about other things. please refer to some of the ground breaking

scientific papers that you have read, that will change my views.

Starting at birth is cheating, as the risks have changed from child mortality from disease post birth, to abortion pre-birth.

Realistically, it should start at 21  (or conception) as most have us have made it past that age.

geronimo-a very fine piece of writing I must say!

Tho' I don't necessarily agree with all your points I like it as a type of old fashioned "essay" where people are invited to debate and discuss the current issues which you have outlined so well.

But just where we actually at present is the rub as it can be demonstrably argued that the human population of the planet has never been so well off-or well governed for that matter.Tho' obviously this is patchy the world is a far better place then it was in 1800.

On the other hand humans couldn't possibly destroy the world then but can certainly do it now either thru' atomic weapons, biological means or just the good old capacity to defecate in one's own nest leading to ecological disasters on the local, regional, national and international levels.

God only knows what the future may bring.

Bible bashers are better than climate loons. BB say you will go to hell when you die. CC nuts say we are all doomed and will become extinct in years.

Not true at all. You cant feed 7bn billion without transport , houses and cold storage.

And telling people to give up holidays while you live in Thailand from another country is just hypocritical.

People have better lives now than any point in history.

Black Plague anyone?

Killed by Romans?

Humans just like to whinge and make doomsday forecasts cause their own lives arent good.

Mathematically you are correct.

Mathematically in about 50 years you will be incorrect.

Simples.

came from my head Sir!

Yes, and you probably spended too many good hours creating it. Just think about how many beers you could have been drinking instead. ????

But sure, it´s going downwards day after day. You have a choice, though. You can make your life miserable thinking about it, or you can choose to relax and enjoy.

So, just to answer your question. Where are we going? I have no chance in hell to know where you are heading, but I will just lift up my sorry ar5e and go to the cooler for another beer. Cheers! ????

On some continents people enjoy better lives than at any point in history for the majority. Not on all.

" Great Thunberg started a movement for the young people, "

Sure conned you. Her parents are using her to make money. Books, videos, sponsorships etc.

It's all about money.

Nothing to do with saving anything. Al Gore started the money making enviro con.

Spot on.

The poor lass has autism. That's why she's obsessively fixated with this, fed and encouraged by parents and their cronies; and was prepared to go on strike (555!) on Fridays and initially sit there all alone with her signs.

Disgraceful exploitation but oh so left wing liberal.
