Supercar "worth millions" engulfed in flames on expressway near Bangkok

I saw a Porsche burst into flames right before my eyes on the exit ramp to Ngam Wongwahn road last year. It just rolled to a halt , the driver got out and then up it went , much to his obvious chagrin.

I swear I thought I have seen that car before and the penny just dropped.

Roger Rabbits car!

Not an porsche but an 1930s Chrystler 77 that was.

Both nice cars and a pity the porsche went up.

yeah the car of the people in Los Angeles. everyone has one.

That’s not a Porsche in the picture.  Doesn’t have the same side profile as any 911/918/CGT etc.  look how the front lamps bulge out.  It looks more like one of those bodykitted Toyota MRS/MR2 abominations that I’ve seen for sale.

That's not one, but Lamborghinis are well known for engine fires.

Indeed, in the S.F. Bay Area, Porsches are almost a dime a dozen, and unless they're one of the top models, are NOT considered "supercars". That designation is reserved for McClarens, Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and other exotics.

In fact, one car site (CarGurus) lists over 250 911s for sale and over 750 Porsches of all models for sale.

Considering the generosity of the current powers that be, it shouldn't be long before everyone in Thailand has one too! ????

Well most of the posters here will be unable to either get into out of one, <deleted> dragging on the ground
