Is anyone aware of any Foreign Exchange Booths still open for business in central Bangkok? I note that BBL and Krungsri have suspended exchanging foreign notes for baht and that Super Rich have closed all branches except for 3 (with Rajdamri H/Q still open in central BKK). However I'm looking for a bank still exchanging foreign notes for baht in the Asoke to Phrom Phong area particularly.

I don't have an answer for you but will monitor the relies as I have the same question. 

 

My emergency solution is to use transferwise.com to send money to a Thai friend's account. Lst time it only took 5min between sending the payment and my friend's Thai bank notifying the receipt of the amount (without fees for him). 

I found one that was open between Sukhumvit Soi 18 and Exchange Tower (they exchanged my AUD into THB at 19.2 which isn't too bad in these current circumstances). I also heard that Super Rich were open in Interchange 21
