Chiang Rai: Partygoers arrested for drugs at booze and sex party in luxury hotel

Thirty members of Thailand's Norasingh taskforce and Ban Du police in Chiang Rai in the north of the country raided a party going on at a luxury hotel in Ban Du, Muang district.

 

Ten men and twelve women were taking part in a party by a pool. They were all aged between 20 and 30.

 

Some in three rooms were in a state of undress. Alcohol, cigarettes as well as packets of ecstasy and ketamine were found strewn about the place.

 

 

Everyone was drunk - this was all in contravention on the Covid-19 regulations.

 

Many also tested positive for drug taking and will face charges for using "ice", ecstasy and ketamine.

 

Organiser of the party was Niran, 24, from Trat who had advertised about the event online.

 

 

He was found in possession of 237,000 baht.

 

Complaints had been made to the local authority about the party.

I guess social distancing is working very well.

It looks a pretty good party, as they had the famous VT Nam Nueng food I see in one of the photos.  I can never pass up VT Nam Nueng from Udon Thani......just saying

seemed like a great idea on paper, but was the meth necessary? after all, the e and ket would have sufficed adequately.

 

Young and dumb and not so free it is.

While quite resourceful, Nong Niran comes off a bit of a <deleted> for "ädvertising online", however it was inevitable somebody rumbled them.

Im past it now, but have certainly attended my fair share of after parties like this not so very long ago.
