Alcohol and beer BAN

Hey all,

So the latest news is that there is an alcohol ban starting YESTERDAY. Can you still publicly buy beer or alcohol near you? All of the 7-11 and 'real' stores will not sell here on Ramindtra. The mom and pops are getting rid of their supplies at inflated prices (90 baht for Chang 120 baht for Leo). Any word for other people?

My Ms. is a daft twizat. My friend DID confirm it in Phitsanulok. I was just charged 70 baht per Chang from the mom and pop. I live on Ramindtra near Fashion Island. I'm off to see if Big C still sells beer.

Better to avoid too much alcohol while Corona is here

Pray tell and why, better provide a documented case study.  Other than mixing my wine with a corona or two would give me a damn headache....

in Chonburi province all spirits and beers available for purchase until 6PM today (was in the news)

Change from 10PM yesterday.  Have not seen any shortage of alcohol anywhere on Pattaya

Drink and be merry

The Governor of Chonburi, which includes Pattaya, has just signed this order that includes these new rules:
 Close all tourist attractions
 No alcohol sold 6pm-6am
 Beaches cannot be used 8pm-6am

Those rules are reasonable, if the beaches are open during the day & people can buy some booze to consume at home.
