If they think you are serious they will add you to a waiting list. If you are very lucky you will get a call 2-3+ years later, but there is no guarantee.

 

In the meantime prized models will be sold to their well known clients who will always get first refusal of anything a bit tasty.

 

This is the way with just about every AD out there, regardless of the country.

There would be no point in referring anyone to the Rolex website as Rolex, the manufacturer, does not retail watches to the public, it only distributes to ADs.
