Millionaire Thai celebs urge people to "stay home and safe"

Featured Replies

...but did any one of their PR staff tell them that most people have to leave their homes to work and keep society going and those who are not are basically staying home because they were laid off?

It seems many poor Thais love all those soap operas with super wealthy people.

I wouldn't be surprised if they would watch some celebrity with the problem in which of his 20 rooms he should spend the next hour.

Especially when their mansions have internal swimming pools and fitness gyms and they can invite friends over etc. I am in an office

Sure the wealthy can confine more easily than the poor. Actually the wealthy can do almost anything more easily than the poor. And yes I also believe the poor believe what a wealthy say more than what another poor say. Let's see!

Try telling that to the guys living in a tin shacks like down our soi, how about distributing some of your wealth?

So true and try telling this to you employer and maybe show them the instagram account of some millionaire lukrueng celeb with a "stay home" sign. The employer will either die laughing or send me on permanent vacation

These Thai soaps make me laugh .  Not seen one since arriving in the north about 10 years ago but it was always the chap with his brand new Benz that was porking a maid , wife found out and at the top of the big staircase , yup wobbly knife in hand ...bong bong bong down the stairs they go.

Why oh why can't they make a more realistic one with old biddies in a market throwing fish at each other ?
