A new slogan for the left to describe a 70 something year old President who fights back with words that seem to cut into his opposition like a surgical knife?

Nothing random about it Comrade!

It’s not a ‘new slogan’ and it has a very specific definition:

  • With the protesters defying the restrictions it seems they are not 'very responsible'.   So why tweet 'LIBERATE LIBERATE LIBERATE'. He is simply continuing with his re-election campaign.

  • He knows he is responsible for many deaths and will lose the next election, so why not try a desperate move to get the economy back on track, flip side is it will kill a hell of a lot more people, eit

He's not fighting back with words, he's playing to his most rabid base during an unprecedented crisis for the country.

He's despicable beyond words.

Exactly. All from what do you derive this threat? A couple of tweets right. And oh my, here you are issuing warnings to Democracy.

When Trump is gone in 5 years the tape of the insane will continue to repeat from coffee bars everwhere handrolled cigarettes and and brave revolutionaries can be found hiding their self defeat, and internal cries of failure, in claims of having a better way for all, and the best of five year plans to move the massline.

Unfortunately I think this may very well be correct.

Too bad Trump didn't like to serve his country back when he was called up to do so. And that guy is the C-in-C!

Arlington must be rumbling with the noise of all the fallen heroes rotating in their graves.

What a mess the U.S is in on just about every level. I just hope that these governors who have been given authority to open their states will do the right thing, because its not looking like the federal government has the capacity to do so. If there is a large "re-opening on the 1st of May you'll see a second spike that was completely avoidable, and with 34,000 dead already from this virus in the U.S that is an absolute crime. Anyways, I hope all the best for the U.S my home country, but i can't see too much good in the near future, or long future for that matter.

Trump is doing a fantastic job. Keep up the good work. Trump 2020!

No problem! It´s just to raise another memorial stone, with the headline "They Fought Bravely!".

I guess nobody have been talking about that the world or any country will fall because of this virus outbreak. Being worried for your home country is never wrong.

In typical American fashion, maybe we should call the unnecessarily dead, "heroes" from "Gold Star" families.

Not sure that those people had much choice in the matter ??

Relax, your country is on top, and will come through this storm like all storms. Its nearest rival hasn't figured out how not to release a new pandemic every five years or so, or even how to teach its people to stop urinating and defecating in public places. We are safe for another 100 years in your home country.

Yes, the USA is at the top of the death count mountain. It has near zero chance of being the world's top economy in a century. It may not be by the time the pandemic recovery is complete. As far as his call to arms to liberate some states maybe it's about time someone  encourages the rough living underclass to  liberate some of Trump's properties.

What are you talking about 2100? The US can handle 100k deaths. They cannot handle economic ruin

No, he hasn't. He hasn't even done quite well "in service to" himself, the only one he cares about.

US economy is already ruin with record federal debt, large budget deficit, high debt to GDP and a fiat currency. Trump has make the economy worse by focusing on Wall Street and neglecting the Main Street. The dollar will crashed followed by hyper inflation and the FED can only watch.

Trump has now latched onto the "social-distancing deniers" to fan his base for the next election, cheered on (or perhaps led by) the fanboys at Fox News.

For the Donald the question is not whether the US will suffer greater economic pain through lockdown, or more deaths and a longer infection curve through opening up - it is purely an economic matter of self-survival.

He needs to be re-elected in November in order to save his business - the outbreak has basically put paid to governments and sponsors filling his hotels and golf-courses in the hope of ingratiating themselves with the President and his business has had to go cap in hand for deferrals on loans from Deutsche Bank.

No bank will bankrupt a sitting President, but if he is not in the White House in January then this is all called in.

If you thought it was partisan at the moment, wait for the next 6 months.

There will be the ongoing sparring with congress which has barred him and his business from receiving COVID-related bailouts - but he is still trying to find ways around this - getting rid of the oversight is just the first step

In the next few months expect to see more voter suppression measures and registration requirements, and extra restrictions in large urban areas but not rural areas, tying up state and local courts and being promulgated by Trump-friendly state legislatures, all under the guise of emergency laws (Buying a gun is essential but an abortion is not...)

The problem is that these may not be enough, as the legislature in Wisconsin recently found out to its cost.

So what else? - "spontaneous" social-distancing protests? of course only in those marginal states which will be important in the election and look as if they could swing to the Democrats, or in Democrat dominated districts?

it is not possible to think of all the machinations which could, or will, go on,

Hold on to your hats - this is going to be rough

Most unfortunately, he does NOT take any responsibility for ANY deaths. He is always "right" and anyone who disagrees with him is always going to be ... FAKE or Dumb or Stupid or Anti-trump or even (Oh no) an ... immigrant.

Word of the week... Scamdemic

https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

This should show you that 96% of those tested showed mild or no symptoms

4% had critical symptoms 80% of them recovered

https://deathmeters.info/

This should show you how devastating Covid19 is.

Last year 3 million deaths in USA didn't raise an eyebrow 60,000 from flu.

That would be a very sad reflection on the majority of Americans, but highly possible! He is loved by the rich and rednecks alike! Git er dun!

This piece of trash will say and do anything to get what he wants. How the people of America cannot see that his agenda is to drive what he wants and to hell with the consequences for the nation which he is sworn to serve, this is truly staggering.

P.S. The opposing  political party aint' much better!

Pity the Democrats seem to have settled on old, tired, no-ideas, inarticulate Biden. He'd do well to keep his mouth shut between now and the election because mostly gibberish seems to come out--luckily for him the virus has curtailed campaigning.  And, now a sexual harassment charge surfacing.  This is the best we can come up with to go against Trump???  Pitiful.

Agree with many of the foregoing comments, although I reckon Trump will easily win in November.
