Very Very annoying popup ads!

I am so fed up with having to close 2 large and annoying popup ads which open on every page and obscure the text of the Thaivisa forum that I am limiting the topics I read to those for essential information revelant to me.

 

Is anyone else feeling the same about these pig ignorant ads? If so please message admin then they might do something about it!!!

Install an ad blocker.  Ads gone after you do that.  I think the one I used is this: https://adblockplus.org/

I used to use an Adblocker but Thaivisa.com stopped opening if used. I used to get an onscreen message from them saying they need the advertising revenue. I can accept normal ads but these that cover text and open over and over on every page are beyond the pail!

 

I will try using an ad blocker again.

Yes, I complained back then too. Shortly after it did improve slightly in that the offending video-ad stopped appearing all over the screen and stayed in the bottom right corner and u could close it on each visit to the site. But now it is opening mid-screen on every page plus another non-video bottom right intruding over the forum text.

Worst advertising model I have ever seen in my life. In 20+ years, I have never installed an Ad blocker. I actually like to see the ads, because I occasionally click on some. For the first time ever, this site drove me to install an Ad blocker. Quite an accomplishment. Congratulations.

Maybe they do not have the technical knowledge to solve these problems. But spending $5 on Fiverr will probably solve this problem.

It’s all about the money. TV opened a thread yesterday offering discounted advertising and then closed it down.

I get no ads on TVF. I have many addons installed in various devices in my network to prevent it.

Router: aftermarket gargoyle firmware with adblock plugin installed

Rooted android tablet: adaware installed

Firefox: adblock plus, ghostery, privacy badger, ublock origin(TVF whitelisted due to endless loading)

 

Actually, I get no ads anywhere. I do need to disable some of the addons for some sites, but not very often.
