Ramadan starting now is going to be a real test.

Religion versus common sense. I wonder which one wins.

Oh dear, that must have set back our hope of some relaxation by 1st May 2020.

Probably 1st May 2021!

Let's hope they open up subdistricts that have not had any cases for the past 14 days.  That would be a start.

The missus just got told by a very  reputable source, there's  4 individuals from the Bang Tao area hiding from authorities, they're  known to have been in very close contact with confirmed virus carriers.

By any chance are these 4 who are hiding.... muslims? Bang Tao has a large mosque? I would be suprised if ordinary Thais were hiding out.....for what purpose

There is a real worry muslims will ignore quarantine to partake in ramadam. ....Many muslim leaders are saying ignore quarantine and gather for ramadam

You can practice Islam and be in quarantine, right? I mean you can pray etc. at home, right?

So ordinary Thai are not Muslim?

In bang Tao it is likely they're Muslim but not necessarily, but I very much doubt that has any bearing on the issue at hand.

What I am meaning to say is some Muslims will choose to worship their God over orders that are given by the government (meeting up with family, meeting for mass prayer......These are standard at ramadam)

And some Christians have done and are doing the same.

Heard possibly 7 sub districts will remain closed past 1st May.
