May 9, 200718 yr As much as i dislike South Australians i have to admit Coopers brew some of the worlds best beers.. Sparkling Ale is my fave.. Much as I hate to admit it but I have to agree with you which is WHY I ALREADY POSTED IT! Coopers Ale Oh we're the pride of South Australia we're the mighty Adelaide Crows - we love our Coopers Ale as our beer gut surely shows (sung to the team song of the greatest football team in the world the Adelaide Crows) CB
June 29, 200718 yr Author I received this bye-mail from a friend of mine - and an excellent occasion to revive this thread: Hello raro,As mentioned on the phone today, I purchased four cans of Chang Draft for testing purposes. The alcohol content is 5%, the same as the standard Singha cans. However, it is very gassy. I do like a bit of foam at the top of the glass (you are not the only one who laughs at me for always drinking out of a glass rather than straight out of a bottle or can), but this is just too much. Burping results, not nice. And the taste is not "full". It is very soft; maybe some people prefer this, but I am missing the character. While it is not sweet (like Kloster), it lacks the bitterness I expect. No comparison to the unfortunately discontinued Singha Draft cans. I'm back to straight Singha. Can anybody convince them to relaunch their Singha Draft cans? Feel free to publish this on thaivisa.com (minus my email address), under the condition that you keep me informed of the reactions I think this is the time to start a popular movement! I see TV members with banners in front of the Boon Rawd Brewery fighting the riot police...tear gas...Robski, we need you back here to waive the black flag!
January 10, 200818 yr Back by Popular demand (in the "Did You Know" thread) What are your beers for 2008??
January 10, 200818 yr If you want real Mexican style beer then you need to put down your Coronas The Amber is excellent. Sol - You can actually taste this beer, unlike the Corona the tourists drink. Asahi. Dry, refreshing, now available in Yorky-size. Yeah, you're right about that. I love Sol and Asahi. My favorite of all time is Bavik Pils, and Guinness. I can drink those two all night, but not much else.
January 10, 200818 yr ...Robski, we need you back here to waive the black flag! NO worries, I have something for Robbo that will appease his Anarchistic Tendencies Moss
January 11, 200818 yr Quite often in the dear old Patters forum, you get the Patters hate Brigade who just can't stop themselves from having a go and reducing any point to their views on the fair city being full of #$%^^ Well found a beer related picture of a number of these guys at their recent " We hate Patters convention "
January 11, 200818 yr Apart from the ones mention in TLW, seeing that swingtop Fisher above reminded me of another drinkable tipple. Now the only problem is that whilst I was trying to post this, I accidentally duplicated a pic and then got myself in more <deleted> than a Werribee duck trying to fix it. So if you see no bottles below, so be it. If you see many of the same bottle, drink one to help me clear the duplicates out.
January 11, 200818 yr Anybody tried this? Can't remember how it tastes now but the holiday was fantastic can you name the country?
January 11, 200818 yr Cyprus by any chance ? Indeed Chavy. I've had about 5 chistmas's over there but not been for a while now.
