Health minister orders anti-viral vaccine trials accelerated

 

 

Thailand’s Public Health Minister, Anutin Charnvirakul, has urged the National Vaccines Committee to shorten the period, required to develop the specifications for the production of a COVID-19 vaccine, from six to three months.

 

Since the production of a useable vaccine will take about 18 months, Anutin said that the guidelines must be completed within three, adding that the private sector and all related agencies should be involved in development of a vaccine.

 

An estimated 45 billion baht for the vaccine initiative will be part of the 1.9 trillion baht in loans being sought by the Government. Candidate vaccines will have to go through three stages of mandatory trials, on animals and humans, to prove their safety, efficacy and ability to generate antibodies.

These people are so dumb, and they think everyone else is too. 

 

The one thing I believe in all of this pandemic mess is that a vaccine is being worked on as fast as possible not least because whoever gets a working one first will probably get rewards, grants, and billions in funding and profit by doing so - and not anything that "Anutin" says is going to speed that up.

A mere formality, after developing a cure for Ebola and HIV in the past, this one should be a no brainer for the bright minds!  Maybe then they can develop a cure for corruption! ????

There is a cure for corruption but it's just not used here in Thailand.  Jail time is effective and works in other jurisdictions.

sorry to hi jack thread here. is anutin a thai 'hero' ? seems to be but thais I know think he's a weasel. any guys here can get a GF's opinion perchance without a new thread....

and if the vaccine actually does come good in 3 months, anutin can claim it was his work...

As  unlikely as a  vaccine which may well never  become available, but we  all know  that anyway.

I wonder if  he would buy  any vaccines developed by a dirty foreign country?

Knowing that he would painstakingly obey the two metre 'social distancing' I must assume that a telephoto lens was used for this photograph and has caused an apparent foreshortening making the group appear to be too close together.....????

It turns out that this thing kills around 0.16% of people it infects - that is within normal range for a nasty seasonal influenza outbreak. 

 

Vaccines have have never worked against viruses as they constantly mutate.  

 

There's a two hour plus documentary, which goes into the history and right up to current events as to what is actually going on  - it is called "End Game". 

 

At first it seems a bit far fetched and conspiratorial - but it leads right up to the juncture we are in right now with extraordinary precision - despite the fact it was made 14 years ago. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Does he not think that everybody is doing their very best to get the vaccine.  His suggestion to go faster is insulting to everyone.  Suggesting that they are not going as fast as they can.  But this man has proved to be very good at insulting people

What's  he going to do? load  all vaccines into a  Lamborghini?

I mistakenly thought this man had been put out to pasture, obviously after chewing the cud for a few weeks he is back, spouting nonsensical rubbish as he goes. 

Which part of his thought processes fail to understand to create a Vaccine safely demands thorough testing and evaluation, sadly and obviously unbeknown to him this cannot be SPEEDED UP , but of course being a THAI MINISTER with a DEGREE as well, ( although a degree in what is open to discussion ) he intends to make sure the half baked ideas he proclaims become fact. The man is a disgrace to the Thai nation .

3 months to produce the guidelines, not the vaccine....

After 3 months require generals and admirals to take the vaccine first, then expose them to the virus to show its effect.

See how fast this accelrated program terminates.

but if it does it might be for a high price. Shortening the time would mean reducing - or removing - security which might lead to deaths caused by an unapproved vaccine. May be even more than by the virus itself.

First he posts a picture of himself and others demonstrating the absolute opposite of 'social distancing'.  Then he opens his mouth.  Not a wise thing to do because every time his mouth opens, out comes a torrent of BS.
