May 2, 20205 yr Waitress Chef Manager Cleaner Hotel reception What about working hours? 5 or 6 days a week?
May 2, 20205 yr Popular Post Depends on lots of factors but here is a rough starting point... Could vary drastically though. Small hotel not in a city center, run by a Thai person; Waitress 10-12k Chef 15-20k Manager 20-25k Cleaner 8-10k Reception 10-12k 8hrs/day x 6 days

I find no point in giving more numbers unless op specs what kind of operation it is very specifically. Then the numbers could be useful, otherwise it is a shot in the dark if your "Small hotel not in a city center, run by a Thai person" or any other description is anywhere near what he is about. Of course you could continue discussing the length of a rope but I prefer to untie the one attached to the dock and take a spin in my boat.
May 2, 20205 yr It will be about 2000 - 4000 baht/month for most farming villages. That's why rural Thais head to the cities for higher wages. Sarcasm alert.
May 2, 20205 yr If own by a Thai the numbers above seem pretty close. If however a western company such as Marriott, it is usually higher.
May 2, 20205 yr I would agree with the figures above , but there are often other things that make up the monthly package. Most in a restaurant get fed at least once a day, some basic accommodation is often supplied, reception get kickbacks from taxi drivers, Tips can literally double a monthly wage etc. Wife has been waitressing for the last year, 10k salary, another 10k in tips, 1-2 meals a day, alcoholic drinks once a week. other staff stayed upstairs for free.
