Local Train Services to Khon Kaen

Featured Replies

I have just been told that the local trains that I take between Banphai and Khon Kaen have been cancelled.
In the first instance one of the morning trains were cancelled.    Now it seems all trains have been.
As I have no transport of my own and, have doctors appointments in KK having just had cataract surgery, I don't want to use the limited local bus services due to the Corona situation.

Can anyone confirm about the train services ?

Local train 415 (Nakhon Ratchasima-Nong Khai)

Local train 418 (Nong Khai-Nakhon Ratchasima)

Many thanks ubonjoe.
Guess I better get my walking shoes on, good job I have been visiting my local park each evening for a quick 3 - 5k.
The ride by train to KK was only 8 baht, fresh air conditioned too.

Oh, near the final stop before KK there is a large cement area, looks a bit like a giant highway tollbooth.    Parked up are many China Shipping containers - quarantined I guess.
