Such a great idea because muslims are notorious for following the rules and will not gather together and talk to each other after prayers....NOT!!!

Just like ole whitey foreigners congregating on the beach...quite a few been arrested the past few weeks..it's obvious you don't like Islam which is your choice but there isn't any favourtism going on...they will follow all the rules the same as other venues....and yes Temples are open also

I worship the gym and the gym god...............can they now open the Gym please....I will wipe down the equipment after?

They are getting special treatment because authorities are afraid of them, authorities are afraid of them all across they world

I don't like organised religion full stop...... and I especially don't like religions which won't allow freedom of speech and have laws which are taken above the law of the state

Back into the 100s for Thailand in a few weeks then.

Just yesterday we saw many people in just one store, pushing and shoving each to get their hands on cases of beer. And I'm sure such scenes were repeated across the country.

So what is more likely to push the number of Covid 19 cases in the next few weeks. A properly organized and supervised prayer meeting, observing all the rules. Or hundreds, maybe thousands of none Muslims, totally ignoring the rules to grab a case or two of beer?

And millions depends of restaurants for their daily food, living in places with nothing to make cooking.

Beer is more important than praying.

An intelligently thought out side-step, otherwise known as avoiding the issue.

You do realize that all the positives in Phuket recently were from an area heavy with Muslims including religious teachers, religious students as per the news reports.  I wonder if all the positives in Yala of people coming back from religious gatherings in Indonesia and Malaysia were following the rules.  I would dare say they were not.

I did not speak out in favour of the prayer meetings. the point I was making is that a properly organized event, observing the protocols is less likely to cause a spread of the disease than the disorganized rabbles that descended on the alcohol outlets on Sunday.

When we last saw such behavior it was desperate, hungry people seeking some sustenance. And they were told to disperse!
