Is Jungceylon open?

Featured Replies

According to their website, as of April 30th they are open 11-7. I thought there wasn't anything official on that yet? Has anyone been there in the past few days?

I would think not before 18 May and restrictions as to how many hours you can be in there will follow soon.

AFAIK big c, banks and telecoms are open, rest closed.

Happy to be corrected.

Was there yesterday. Only Big C is open. Not allowed to park my scooter underneath in either the big C close bike area, nor the normal drive in area.

I think Central Festival and some other malls in Phuket were opened on 18 May,  but anything in Patong is dirtier than other places, so who knows when they let it fully open...! Big C is open but that was never closed during the lockdown. You just need to write Micky Mouse and a random number now to go in.... ????????

They all close at 8pm though, and I just saw a lot of workers coming out after 8pm, so perhaps some more shops are opened now, but I haven't been inside to check...

About 90% of the Jungceylon shops are open but only about 20% of the restaurants. I've been there twice and there are far more employees than there are customers. Other than Big C, most stores were completely empty with zero customers. Jungceylon exists for the tourists - and there aren't any.
