Working whilst waiting for ILR ?

Featured Replies

My wife is currently working in Thailand on a decent salary as a quality controller

When we entitled to work when she come to the UK ?

She will get a BRP biometric residence permit and Leave to remain which lasts 30 months that acts as a work permit and visa

After you have proved your income again she would get Further leave to remain and a second BRP for 30 months  eventually she can apply for ILR

If they don't find an excuse to reject her application. Also dont forget that in addition to the visa, she will have to pay for use of the NHS.

She will have to pay the NHS charge regardless of whether she uses it or not

Currently £1000 and due to rise to £1500 in September working and paying tax and national insurance makes no difference

I know it doesn't pay to be British in the UK. Is there a way i can pay the fees directly rather than through and agency ?
