Realistically, I can't see the majority of those stranded outside Thailand getting back in for another 2 months minimum.

Once they have repatriated all Thais at a slow rate, it will then be paid quarantine time for the farang contingent.

 

Does anyone know if VFS is open now ? I'd like my wife to apply for a U.K visa in case I have to fly in that direction instead of Thailand.

So even if Thai spouses want to join their partners that are stuck outside Thailand, they can't get a visa for certain countries !!

 

Pointless article, IO is just quoting requirements that existed before the ban. When flights resume incoming there will be new requirements which may or may not be the same.
