Won't open software because "contains a virus"

Featured Replies

Windows 10

I'm trying to Cain and Abel for the first time and I'm getting a ridiculous amount of no from my computer. First I had to disable chrome blocking it and now I want to disable my computer from blocking it opening. I straight up don't have virus and threat protection tab in my windows defender area and when I try to directly search for it, it says my IT administrator has limited my access to it. I've tried to do many things in the registry editor to allow me access but the things that the people have in the videos are just not on my computer. Does anyone have any ideas?

Wouldn't a password manager be easier?

Surely if you're being warned that you don't have administrator privileges then you're not in administrator mode.

plenty of free AV on the web. some you can even run remotely without installing AV. Trend is one.

I work since 30 years in IT and never heard that one. What are you trying to do?

Sound like he's trying to spam the board (but forgot the link the first round so re-posted).
