I have a Thai friend in Phuket who is struggling with her finances thanks to COVID-19. Is there any Thai equivalent to the UK's Citizen's Advice Bureau that she could visit in Phuket?

Other than that, a post in Facebook would produce hundreds of comments.   That's what many Thais seem to do.

The local ombudsman is a good place to start.

The ombudsman sounds good for consumer complaints - however, she hasn't been ripped off. She needs some solid financial advice from somebody who knows the laws regarding debts etc.

And they can help with recommendations, perhaps.

You have some very experienced thais and long-term expats on the forum.

Why not share some the problems/issues and see what the feedback is? Can’t hurt.
