It makes me sad is that there are so many Americans supporting him. The tax deduction, one of his few achieved election promisses, was supoorted by a few egoistic Dems. They all thought only of themselves.

 

I learnt a lot about the political system during the Trump-time. And I recognized, sorry that I repeat it, this system has lot more holes than a Swiss Cheese. A normal democracy has 3 independent powers, the US only 2. Forget the juristic power in the US, especially under Barr and his minions.  Remember Kavanough's nomination, only 1 example of many. Another elementary hole in the US-cheese, the most mighty person, the president, is not choosen by the majority of the voters. Hillary Clinton has had 3 million more votes than Trump.

 

The US execitive has too much power and can easily be abused, as shown by Trump day by day.

I have no conclusions about Pres. trump one way or the other...I haven't done any research on him, his past or his family. Don't intend to buy the book either and it's up to the election results as to whether he serves another term or not.

However, watching various news articles on the net I did end up with a couple of questions. The author obviously couldn't have known personally about his past because she wouldn't have been born yet so she would have to rely on other sources for info, yes? I understand also that she has been estranged from him for years so again where does she get her info from?

As for Trump being "very popular" in America, I invite you to do some research on the latest American opinion polls.

 

Whether he is re-elected is indeed up to the American people. This is their chance to correct a regrettable error in judgment and to demand a reformation of the flawed Electoral College system that allowed him to take office against the will of the people. It should be remembered that Trump lost the popular vote by several million votes. 

 

Your statement about Trump's lies is correct however and factually verifiable by even the most biased observer.

The information released in the book is entirely believable. That's because the public already knows what 45 is. A horrible human being, completely amoral, and clearly severe psychological abnormalities. Plus the lying No president has ever come close.
