July 11, 20205 yr the new extension of MRT which is actually elevated like BTS and went across the river to Pinklao was operating on limited schedule in March. Is it it now fully operational and anyone know how MRT connects from being underground to then being elevated ?
July 11, 20205 yr It works just like the London underground. The underground tracks are in tunnels, and then they come out of the tunnels. And in the case of MRT go up into the sky. I didn't notice any elevation change, just the lack of daylight.
July 11, 20205 yr Author Ok unfortunately the MRT phone app is only in Thai so not possible to plan a journey with links
July 11, 20205 yr Blue is fully operational..I used it to get to the Southern Bus Terminal..the songthaews go right by Central Pinklao. Try the app Via Bus....the new ferry boats are a big improvement, too.
