Another brain dead Minister in Prayut's band of deadheads.

Taking the country into the abyss, which it's very unlikely it will ever recover from

Is this part of the plan to attract a smaller number of high class first rate tourists?  What does Her Minister recommend?  An overnight stay at the Bangkok Hilton?  Perhaps a simulation of shower molesting, a demonstration beating and a maggot infested rice meal?  Im sure the tourists will be lining up for the experience!

Why stop there? Expand the idea by putting Prayut et al behind bars. I'd pay to see that!

Just when you`d think they run out of (bad) ideas, here comes another

totally freaked out idea. I wonder is they lobotomize every newborn child

the moment they pop out, so in the future they can achieve high post

in society. 2 brain cells fighting who`s to roll the 3:rd one in a wheelchair!

it is part of plans to rehabilitate prisoners in Thai jails by giving them a chance to work, develop skills and perhaps open their own businesses on release.

despite the hideous title of this post (no doubt to, as always, ridicule Thai officials) this seems a good and humane idea.

besides that, prisons as tourist atractions (although that is NOT the plan of this Thai official) is common. Just look at the usa with Alcatraz etc.

Perhaps the Dept.of Corrections (Thailand) can offer the countries intrepid superhero tourist blogger Richard Barrow a weekends complementary board and food at one of their establishments to report on the touristic aspect of their enterprises on his UK Gov approved twitter account?

I suspect he'll slope off to a nearby boutique hotel if the beds aren't up to scratch on site tho.

Wow, this  amazing genius business idea. He is surely due to go to the top with that one. People would love to come and see people suffering in inhuman conditions, looking like they are in concentration camps.

Are you sure it isn't the 1st April!

Latest time it is permanent  1 April fools day for Uncle P ministers ...he start looking the most serious one besides them ????....

That's a brilliant idea , and if they let the first visitor to be the redbull guy, he can show them if they make enough money they will never have to go to jail again . That's the perfect rehabilitation .

Fascinating idea. Perhaps they could charge tourists for an overnight stay. “A genuine prison experience".

Two jail terms in one visit. The first being the rather charming 14 day hotel quarantine sentence. And after you are "released" you can go straight to prison, and enjoy the real deal.

One could come up with some fun slogans.

Become a lifer, on your next vacation.

Lonely? Meet some new friends in amazing Thailand.

Prisons that rival the Banyan Tree resort. Only 2,000 baht a night. Rice porridge included.

Ever wanted to be a criminal, but never had the nerve? Want to see how you could have ended up?

AMAZING THAILAND: Simply bring along your vape pen across the border with you and get to spend up to 1 year in a Thai prison for FREE! (unless we decide to fine you as well)

...YES! My dream vacation.

Probably best of all moronic statements ever. Can not stop laughing myself!

Farang pricing is a must for foreign visitors!

So as not to show the dreadfull conditions prisoners are kept in ?

More chance of scaring tourists away rather attract if they show the real prison conditions.  I might suggest "Midnight Express" themed tours where each tourist in the group can be beaten and raped by the warden?  Yeah that might work??

They already tried this in Pattaya with Alcatraz A-GoGo, it didn’t work, but they should imprison the tourists that book on AirBnB

Are the tourist able to Mingle with the Inmates? what about Safety ?

Attacks from Inmates . Inmates trying to escape holding tourists to ransom ?

Has that Bright Spark thought Trough.  Nah, Make it up as we go along.
