Best woodworking supplies store?

Featured Replies

Renovating my desk- giving it a new oak top - and need to find a store with a big range of stains and estapol/lacquers (preferably international brands). Any suggestions for the store with biggest range? (Berger stains range is pretty damned narrow - trying to find more options).

thanks

There are good shops in Bang Pho (wood street) Bangkok.

Thai Carpenter sells some excellent brands of wood working tools, and maybe some brands not as excellent. Certainly a wide variety of tools are sold by Thai Carpenter.

While what you say is true it is hardly relevant to the OPs question is it?

Homepro has Protego for a danish type oil. If you don't see it in the store can order online or in store from the catalog. Pricey stuff and to top it off with they now got into the Thai game of putting only 2.5 liters into 1 gallon containers so you get 33% air with every purchase.
