You think that could influence the smell of urine and sweat?

All manner of things we consume can influence sweat and pee (do not go for a urine test after eating purple dragon fruit) so I wouldn't be surprised.

Assuming you're not getting pain when you pee (infection) try laying off the riceberry for a few days and see if it fixes it.

Food can definitely have an impact on the smell of your sweat and urine. Curry would be a very good example, onions as well. Just plan the next time you want to riceberry and compare before and after and you’ll know for sure.

For me it's canned tuna. Brown rice too.

Is what we refer to as the asparagus theory...feel free to try it...as they say, you are what you eat.....

Asparagus is an interesting one. Not everyone gets the smell as some people lack the gene to produce it

I suggest you give your daily habit a rest for a week to see if there is any difference it’s not unusual to have strong pee but that can be caused by anything as long as you don’t have terrible feeling such as peeing glass I don’t think you need to worry . I go and have a mans well clinic every year  where they take xRay  ,blood , pee, weight samples costs me a 1,000 baht but if you do drugs then it would show as I don’t indulge in the latter I would throughly recommend it just so that you know that your okay .

Note  : when I eat garlic or chilli my backside stinks when I release wind even the cat goes and hibernates for an hour ????????????

If the smell is sort of fruity, you should get a fasting glucose or HbAc1 done

In fact if you have not had one of these tests in past yer and are over say age 50, should do so routinely anyhow.

Yes indeed - good advice. 26 years ago back in the UK, I went for a "free" NHS body MOT at 50. Unknown to me, my glucose level was high and the doctor stated I was diabetic type 2 (and would be for the rest of my life). I was initially prescribed pills but soon went on to inject insulin which I still do, twice a day, 26 years later and I am in reasonably good health. Urine from a diabetic can have a sweetish smell. Insulin in Thailand is generally only available with a doctor's prescription at a hospital pharmacy but here in Cambodia, insulin is available "over the counter" at most of the larger street pharmacies - simple and convenient.

For reference, if you eat asparagus, which is abundant in Thailand, after digestion it can produce strong smelling urine.

typical MD talk

if it is Type 1:  yes, for life

if it is Type 2 like most people =  you are SUGAR intolerant

avoiding extra sugar , high carb veggies, and you could manage it WITHOUT medication

Yes, Asparagus sure does leave the body with a strong smell.  However, if your not drinking enough water then it can account for the strong smell.  Time to also have the kidney function test conducted as well when they do annual blood work

a friend told me pineapple makes sperm sweet, and in fact most if not all stuff

adds flavor. according to this theory a change in consumption is going to alter smell

Does that also apply to semen?

My urine smells strongly of coffee when I relieve myself having drunk a couple of cups of strong filter coffee in the morning.  I don't find it an unpleasant smell, at all.

not always the case

Some people can indeed manage Type II diabetes with only diet and (equally  important) exercise but some cannot, and even with ideal weight, regular exercise and careful diet still require medication. Depends on the person.

Do you drink enough water? If not, it could be dehydration. But certain food can for sure cause weird smelling urine and sweat. Try to drink a bit more water just in case, that might help.

I said manage, not the CURE word...

I'm pretty sure you can be fat but if you manage (limit) your carb intake, the weight is not the problem

Insulin resistance is the major problem for most people, and it takes 10+ years before this become full blown T2D ...  while still being ... insulin resistant...

so injecting more insulin, to try to control a GLUCOSE overload is not a solution

eating less,  skipping breakfast, or even going one meal a day, will lower your insulin needs

if you eat enough real food and avoid JUNK sugar & junk "plastic" fats in your one meal a day, you might be able to be medication free

but in this time & place, people already think they are going to die when they forgot one of their many SNACKS

60+ years ago, people ate 3 meals a day, did not SNACK like crazy and where THIN (woodstock -> no fatties)

type : JASON FUNG in google/youtube if interested in fasting / healing the body

some people still fast a few weeks per year, even if it is from sun up till sun down...
