Ceiling Panels Collapse At Chiang Mai Airport Injures Two Passengers
In the first photo look how dirty that one panel is. Maintenance doesn't seem to be a priority. I don't know about them partly blaming rainfall unless the roof also needs maintenance. -

Do you hate the Police?
I've always disliked the police in the US, ever since I was in my early teens, they've done very little to earn my respect. When I was living in New York the beat cops who used to walk the street were pretty cool, and I would have frequent interactions with them that were very pleasant. I'd buy them coffee and pastries and we had a nice rapport, but I hear those days are gone. In Los Angeles, the LAPD are absolutely horrendous, no social skills at all. The LA County Sheriffs are not bad, it really depends on the police department. The CHP are generally quite polite and decent. Some are better than others, but alot of US cops are drunk on power. A small percent of them are brutal and completely lost. Here I don't mind the police, they stay out of my face and I try to stay out of theirs. I find most here to be polite. -

Buriram Woman Loses 530,000 Baht in Baffling Bank Transfers
Generally speaking most Banking apps will only let you use it with the registered mobile number which is checked everytime you start the app, there is an option to use wifi but if you turn that option off then you can only use mobile data which check the phone number using the app. -

Transgender Woman's Use of Women's locker room at a gym in St. Louis has Ignited Protests
I have no argument with transgenders, other than to say I just don't understand it at all. Nature, GOD, and other ancient stories of the creation of man and then women, the two different beings, necessary for pro-creation of mankind. Therefore when one is born, unless something totally different emerges, the baby is either a male or female and if there is any question then chromosomes are checked to determine male or female, the parents are advised and then they raise the child as best they can. This changing gender should not be up to a child but only someone of legal age at least in my opinion. Today it seems too many people are affected by what they see and hear on social media. And to allow men to use the ladies dressing rooms or bathrooms, or to participate in women's sports, to be is just WRONG! I can understand why people in this community as members or not of that gym are upset with this policy set by the state legislature about non-discrimination but I would advise people not to participate in activity at that gym or any facility in which they might be embarassed or upset if a man can use the ladies facilities. My opinion anyway. The world has certainly changed during my lifetime and I find so many changes goes against all that I grew up learning about. -

Mass Arrests Follow Violent Far-Right Demonstrations Across the UK
Who are these far right activists? Why not concentrate on the causes of these disturbances instead of just bleating far right like this pathetic government. Three thousand illegal immigrants have arrived in the past month since this shower were elected- nothing done about it. Being anti mass immigration is not far right, and being anti islam is not either, thats just self preservation. If these threats to our way of life are just ignored and the peoples wishes ignored what can you expect? Maybe they read the words of your prophet who said he was victorious with terror, now he was a far right thug! -

Disbanding Move Forward Could Endanger Thailand’s Bid for UNHRC Membership
Regardless of action on MFP, the Thai HRC continues since the 2014 military coup to lose its UN accreditation due to crippling the THRC from government independence. Fundamental laws and government oversight put into place by the 2014 junta and Prayut government must be changed to the extent that the THRC can freely report on Thailand human rights behavior without recrimination and censorship by the government. Disbanding the MFP would just add "insult to injury" to the THRC ability to function. Not disbanding MFP will have no positive affect regarding THRC reaccrediation. -

All the Blood pressure medications
No doubt that exercise can help lower BP many things can.But that not what I was replying to . Below is the quote. "Bingo. High blood pressure is of the result of a bad diet and being fat smoking, etc. " An inherently wrong statement. (Pun intended) "Family and twin studies estimate that blood pressure, or hypertension, is 30–50% heritable, " https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3612776/#:~:text=Blood pressure (BP) is also, estimates of 30–50%. -

"Regrets" versus "best thing I ever did".
I’m not sure what I was thinking when I was 20 years old. My time horizon wasn’t that large. I was in college and trying to have as much fun as possible. I figured the future would just work itself out. Fast forward 50+ years and I still don’t know what I want to do when I grow up. Regrets? I don’t waste much time thinking about what could have been. It happened, I made those choices, and I couldn’t go back and change anything, even if I wanted to. As for the best thing I ever did? I can’t identify any one thing, but some of the best decisions I ever made came from stepping outside of the so-called comfort zone. Quitting a job, for example. Or retiring early. I’m sure some people thought I was nuts, but so what? I’ll take time over money, any day.
