The driver of a pick-up with a large cabinet attachment on the back told the media that he had trouble finding a parking space when visiting the revenue department in Bang Sao Thong, Samut Prakan yesterday afternoon.

So he decided to look behind the building and didn't notice some low wires supporting a radio mast.

His vehicle contacted the wires and snapped the 60 foot tall mast in two.

This came crashing through the roof of a car park structure and pierced a Mazda 2 hatchback.

Fuel from the tank spewed out.

The incident happened behind the Bang Sao Thong municipal offices.

No one was injured.
