Good mechanic and interior for classic benz

Featured Replies

I have a 1957 190 Ponton.  I have owned it for 24 years and I recently had it reverted back to original (as is often the case, many of the parts were not).

But the shop I took it to, referred by a friend, really let me down.  Long story, but my friend has now had a bad experience there as well--long story short, need a new mechanic.

I would also like to get the interior upgraded to look original.

I am in no hurry and I am on a budget.

Any suggestions on a possible small shop that knows classic benz?

I know a garage in Rawai, Phuket he gets people all over Thailand sending cars I have used the guy for 15 years and the amount of classic cars I have seen in there is amazing I'll get you his number if you want,

I would think that restoring a 1957 Mercedes and “I am on a budget” are somewhat incongruent.  But anyways...I’d join this group and ask there.

There is obviously really high end services.  I am not interested in those.  But good suggestion on the FB group.

There's a German that lives off route 24 near to Nong Ki that builds cars from scratch. I'll do some Google-ing and get back to you.
