PHUKET: Governor Narong Woonchiew announced this morning (Aug 8) that selected restrictions put in place to control the COVID-19 pandemic wil be eased as the province strives to return to a level of normality.

 

The Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) on July 22 approved the extension of the nationwide state of emergency for another month until Aug 31.

 

However, this morning’s order, announced at 8:30am by Governor Narong, eases restrictions and allows certain activities to now take place within the community.

Normality in Phuket is not going to return for a long time yet.

Drop the prices, change the business model and cater to the Thai budget or go out of business.
