What I find odd about Richard's story is that he usually leaves Thailand each year and comes back on a tourist visa. 

 

Pretty sure immigration take a dim view of that. 

 

I don't have to do that, nobody with a proper visa does.

I think you got it. Maybe he ran out of thing to write so he's recycled this one or maybe this time the gig's up, because his border bounce isn't an option. After, spilling the beans on immigration asking for B20K to extend Non O B visas, I doubt if that's an option now.

You're wrong. He has publicly taken the lead through FCCT on TM 30 issues and been outspoken on immigration, For years he was low key but more recently he's been out in the open, seeking publicity. Not too smart in his case unless he has another agenda.

Maybe its a lesson learned by Richard this time but at the end of the day there are a lot of people who no doubt should be booted out or visas not renewed but I can't see personally why the would do this to him as I feel he plays a level playing field with help ,assistance ,criticism and personal opinions so I vote renew ????

Are you on the Payroll ? The guy has a huge social media "business" that thrives on controversy. 166,000 followers, 94,000 tweets. 5-6 websites, 20k followers on facebook.

He isn't providing a public service, he runs a business

In saying that, i have no issue paying the fees. Not many sites or parks i go to. 

That is BS.  There is no separate pricing for Thais in the UK, or indeed for any tourists.  Rather the opposite, as they can get big discounts from their tour operator for attractions and that happens in Thailand too.

The 'I'm a better expat than thou' crowd on here is at times, intolerable, and is one of the reasons this forum gets such a bad reputation and why the Thai expat community is somewhat of a joke internationally. 

 

What was it they used to say, FIHKTB - Failed in Hong Kong try Bangkok, or something along those lines... 

 

The irony is most of the expats that perpetuate this are themselves losers, sexpats, deviants and other self-loathing old men that came to Thailand too late to properly enjoy it and are bewildered, lost and confused without Thai friends and with poorly educated sex-working succubus draining their funds. 

 

I've had several snipes at me on here simply because I actually have a successful business here and came here in my 20's. Go figure. 

 

The jealousy and bitterness has always been around and always will be from these inadequate types. 

 

Richard is a great resource for tourists and expats but some people just can't give credit where credit is due.
