Lawn mower service phuket Asgatec

I' have a gasoline powered lawn mower (Asgatec) for a couple of years now, but it recently broke down and needs maintenance.

This happened before in the past and near Chalong there was an Asgatec service center with a guy who spoke little English but did any repair for almost no money in no-time. I drove by last week and the shop is gone. Does anyone know what happened to it and where I should go now? It will require some specific lawn mower parts so I cant simply go to a motorbike repair shop or anything.

Does any of the home-improvement centers have repair shops (HomePro, Thaiwatsadu, etc)?

There is/was a lawnmower repair shop further up Chao Fah West.

Go past the lights near Wat Chalong going north. there is a row of shop houses on the left-hand side before you get to the next set of lights near the TOT office. It is the first shop house.

Asgatec has moved over close to the Phuket Zoo. They seem to be going out of the garden equipment business as the web site doesn't work, emails not answered, etc.  I spoke with a woman in Phuket and she seemed to be the manager and she gave me directions how to find the place. I tried to call her after I had mower GM 5501 serviced and my calls were never answered. There was one mechanic at the shop, he managed to get my mower started and sharpened the blade to give it more cutting efficiency. Charged me 500 B.

Got it home, not easy to start and low power output to cut my lawn.

My go to repair place close to Thai Watsadu says there is a problem with the carburetor (has some funky governing mechanism). The shop does not have a carb that will fit my machine and I have had no luck trying to order from Asgatec.  If I'm down Chalong way I'll stop by the shop and see is they have a carb there.

Good Luck!

My wife tried calling the oldplace and the phone was picked up with someone explaining they have indeed moved to a new location nearby. I have the streetname and hopefully we will have time coming week to bring them a visit as I was always happy with the speed and thoroughness of the Thai guy working at the old place.

I have a GM5501 also by the way, and my starter (the rope pulling thing on the top) broke down (second time in 3 years), so i guess he can just replace it again and I am good to go.

I was there Wednesday, they have the carb for a reasonable price. I will take my mower over there next week and have installed.
