I used a SCB saving account only.

It is required for savings account but uncertain for fixed deposit.

Anyway, the SCB charge is exorbitant. Other banks such as  Krungsri charge only 100 baht for both letter and statement.

You might want to consider moving bank if you are not happy with the charge.

All the uncertainty next year whether the IO will accept my extension application when I moved the money just for the sake of saving a couple of 100s bahts?  No thank you.

Ask again. Thought I would easy get a response.

Will Phuket Immigration accept printed Internet statements or will the need bank produced statements. And will a bank letter be required, thank you.

I don't know but as Thailand is the world hub of rubber stamps, I wouldn't expect them to accept a document wothout the bank stamp on.

Incidentally, whilst waiting for the IO to through my documents last week, I counted a total of 38 rubber stamps on his desk....just to prove a point????
