It's borderline hateful. Obviously offensive to many. It's protected speech. Of course such speech shouldn't be banned by laws. it's a fact that many people are afraid of Islam. That's real for them. Also, the comment reflects a misunderstanding of the full meaning of Islamophobia so in that sense it's ignorant speech.
