Retirement Extension 800k, Phuket
Did my one year retirement last week. What a pain. New room 4 opposite the old room 3. Handles ever sort of long term visa. I arrive 10.00 and no queue cards left (only issue 30 morning session). I had my usual hand drawn map but now they also need a google maps screen shot your location include the lat long reference. I give photos road address sign, house number, home entrance, lounge, all with me in photo. -

transam Advanced Member 90.7k Gender:Male Popular Post Posted June 1, 2020 I can tell you about my cases. They never went to court, just got 1000 quid fine and repay the over payment figure. One didn't get the fine because he had a brain something-or-other and his UK sister did his paperwork, but he had to pay back the over payments, his pension payment went back to the figure he would have got when he moved to LOS. They did their homework and told him when that was.... PS. As izod10 says there is noooooo ploblem, why did these guys get fined 1000 quid..? Look its there on page 6 six quotes down cannot help u crying to the mods time after time- 1

OK. Thank you for your feedback. IF I know that such places actually EXIST...then.... I will continue to search. Sometimes, I believe, it is the belief that decent places might not actually exist, which prevents us from keeping-up our search.... And we just give up, after finding something half-satisfactory. Tks! I now realize that I MUST move. I called the local power company...and... Apparently, they do not anticipate any electric-power supply improvement in my immediate area. Therefore, IF this is really the case..then.... It's just a question of either installing some major whole-house backup system...or moving....or....just continuing to endure the totally unacceptable....for the remaining years one intends to be alive in Thailand. Best choice...I think....is to keep searching for a place that offers a stable electrical-power supply, and quiet, too, and for a reasonable rental cost. -
