harrythai Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 My girlfriend has problems with the seat height on the Yamaha Grand Filano 2020 scooter. A few inches less would be ideal. Does anyone know any advice? Can the seat be made lower or are there lower alternative seats?
northsouthdevide Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 You can buy low rider seats from most motorbike accessories shops. Lower, but probably not as comfy.
scammed Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 its also possible to go to a big bike shop and ask where you can have custom seat made
jvs Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 THe cheapest way is to go to a shop where they re-cover motorbike seats. They will just cut some material to make it lower and it will not cost much, they can actually re-use your old cover. Had one done for a short person also. Many of those shops around. 1

yeahbutif Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 THe cheapest way is to go to a shop and get her a high heel pair of shoes ... works for mine ...and nice too ,,
transam Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 Ours is a bit high too, best bet is to get it recovered, remove a load of padding, costs peanuts. Where I live they do a cracking job for 200bht....

Adiudon Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 Another alternative is to buy aftermarket adjustable rear shock absorbers, it would make the <deleted> end a lot harder though. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/yss-emulsion-gas-shock-yamaha-grand-filano-oe302-325t-yss-100-6-i228920458.html
