A hornbill expert was seriously injured by a wild guar, as he and his team were surveying the route for the production of a TV documentary on rare bird species in Khao Yai national park, in Thailand’s northeastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima on Wednesday.

Mr. Pitthaya Chueylua, and seven other teammates were trekking along a jungle route, about five kilometres from the main Thanarat Road, when a guar suddenly sprang out of the bushes and attacked Mr. Pitthaya’s legs.

The team alerted Mr. Pokklong Thongnuakheng, assistant chief of the park, who immediately asked for a helicopter to be sent to pick up the wounded man for medical treatment.

So he wasn't a Guar expert.

Evidently not !

This is why I buy TV every day.....you don't get this sort of news in the Daily Mail, now do you?

The requested helicopter was unable to land due to an excess number of trees?

Catchy headline though!

Well, it caught me, anyway 555.
